WOMEN- The reason why you are here!



Women are the creators of human beings after God. A society without women would be pale, colorless and tasteless. Women have historically been essential contributors to society, playing vital roles in family, community and the workforce. Despite facing challenges and barriers, women have made significant strides in various fields, breaking stereotypes and paving the way for future generations. 

Traditionally, women were often confined to domestic roles and household chores such as cooking, cleaning, washing, pampering children, grocery, expenses maintenance, thereby looking after every individual of their family except themselves; but today, they play diverse roles in various spheres, including education, politics, business,culture and the arts. Women encompasses a diverse range of identities, experiences and contributions. They have unique strengths, talents, and perspectives that enrich society in countless ways. 

According to Srimad Bhagwad Geeta, Chapter 1 Verse 40, "In the presence of women who are not respected, all acts of righteousness cease to bear fruit and the family is rendered unworthy of offering oblations to the ancestors." 
This verse suggests that when women are not honored and respected within the family and society, it leads to breakdown of righteousness and familial traditions. In traditional Hindu Culture, Women played crucial role in maintaining family harmony, performing religious rituals and passing down cultural heritage to future generations. Therefore, disrespect towards women not only harms them individually but also disrupts the integrity and spiritual well-being of the entire family.  

Similarly, in Ancient India, women's roles and status varied widely depending on factors such as region, social class, and cultural practices. While some women enjoyed positions of power and influence, others were subject to patriarchal norms and restrictions. Women such as Gargi and Maitreyi, renowned female sages and scholars mentioned in Vedic texts set examples that in Vedic Society women also participated in spiritual practices and study Vedas. Women from royal families wielded political influence as queens and consorts. Chandragupta's wife Queen Durdhara and Emperor Ashoka's daughter Sanghamitra, are notable examples.

However, as society became more structured and stratified, women's freedom became increasingly restricted. Despite these constraints, evidence suggests that women in ancient India were involved in various professions, including medicine, trade, and arts.

Amidst all, from leaders and innovators to caregivers and activists, women play vital roles in shaping the world we live in. Despite facing challenges and barriers, women have made significant strides in various fields, breaking stereotypes. Today, women contribute to advocate for gender equality, representation, and empowerment, striving to create a more inclusive and equitable world for all genders. With proper education and support, women can achieve every critical tasks. Thereby, to conclude, A life starts with a women, goes with her and ends with a women.
